Can be your New Years Resolution to give up Smoking Weed?

Of course now of year includes the obligatory New Years resolutions which for most people stay the same every year. In reality, the most typical New Year's resolutions are: Weed Pen

 Drink Less Alcohol
 Get an improved Education
 Get a Better Job
 Get Fit
 Lose Weight
 Manage Debt
 Manage Stress
 Stop smoking
 Cut costs
 Take a visit
 Volunteer to assist Others

As you can tell there are plenty of themes which everybody knows including quitting smoking - this could be cigarettes or marijuana - as well as the sad thing is many people make the same resolutions year in year out and never you can keep them.

Why?

Mostly the reason being they are made on the unexpectedly while slightly drunk or high perhaps. Created using every intention at the time, but made from a wish for change and bettering ourselves without any real clue concerning how to achieve these goals.

And then we proceed with our lofty goals by immediately dieting, trying never to spend cash, getting a gym membership, on and on all at once with out give up smoking aims.

Then what happens?

Dieting becomes hard and whatever fad we jump on loses it's appeal very quickly, post Christmas bargains call to us so we convince ourselves we have been saving cash until 1 day look for ourselves back debt also it all seems hopeless again, a fitness center membership gathers dust after we go several times then suddenly outside, hurry up... and smoking, well once those cravings hit plus you've got a bad day just one relapse allows you to feel your resolutions is broken and it is all overlooked till next year.

What this really means is the fact that resolutions will not work because we never really plan them out. They are entered a burst of passion and need for change but with out a framework to really achieve these items.

Now the entire procedure for quitting takes a great deal of introspection, planning, dedication and motivation, nevertheless the best thing that can be done to start is. Weed Pen

Make use of the power the pen!

Writing things down is probably the most amazing psychological motivators you will get as weird as that may sound. The sheer action of putting your thoughts on paper where it can't be twisted and adjusted because of your cravings, bad moods, and other mutable things in your head is astounding.

My suggestion is always to write down 3 things first:

1. Deposit your exact quit date. Do not get this immediate - allow it to be when you know you'll be all set to go and get this done!
2. Write down how you want to start a week. Will you decrease slowly? Will you go all at once? Write down exactly how you want to stop and a week or two's price of exact timetabling.
3. Also write down what you do with all the time you always spend smoking. Create a plan to fill that point with something rewarding, fun, distracting - whatever will take your mind of the smoking.
